IPAD APPLICATION PROTOTYPE
Created a prototype of the Ipad application to communicate the look and feel of the application and to convey how the application is actually going to work when published.

During this time of immense globalization like never before, several families relocate to different countries. In doing so, their lives are uprooted, making it difficult to reconnect with their own country’s cultures, particularly for the children who have to start their lives in alien terrain. Amongst such families, are several thousands of first-generation immigrant Pakistani children with little to no knowledge of their own culture and rich heritage. This may be because of the lack of material available to them such as games and books which can appeal to the youth of this day and age, and simultaneously educate them on their culture.
Accessibility and distribution are two significant factors taken into consideration for this project, and they were tackled with the decision of making it an application. Stories are an important part of educating children therefore I chose to illustrate and animate some traditional stories from The Mughal Empire about an emperor and his witty advisor. They are humorous stories with a moral at the end, in order to stimulate interest in their heritage and concurrently teach them a valuable lesson.
VIEW THE MOODBOARDIt will be an interactive story game design, particularly for Pakistani children who live abroad. This application will be available in all parts of the world making it easy for immigrant families to access and educate the youth on Pakistani culture. With simple vector illustrations and short sentences, the children will be able to learn more about their culture while partaking in an interactive activity. The app aims to increase children's knowledge and evoke interest, curiosity, and excitement.
Through this game design, children will be able to learn about their culture while being away from their country. With this readily designed interactive story, I want it to serve as an aid for the parents who wish to instill an understanding of Pakistani culture in their children, but do not have the time or the material to.
