Have you ever experienced how certain weathers provoke certain memories that you haven’t been thinking about for a while? The weather leading you to certain feelings and emotions? It is so easy to forget things that we once think we value the most. Sometimes, even the most valuable memories are forgotten. Also, it is easy to neglect our surrounding environment, because we get used to it so easily, things like the weather. This book is connecting the concept of memory and the weather. They are both what we have, and what we easily neglect. The set of illustrations opens the floor to provoke you forgotten memories and provides you the way to look back into neglected moments.
The most significant element for the research was studying various illustrations and the way they deliver the impressions. I decided to figure them out by asking myself a lot of ‘how’ questions. How I can give the same feeling from analog to digital art? And what feelings will I intend to put for each scene? How will I deal with the shadow plays which is the key element for the emotional delivery?
There are moments that we would like to capture forever. There are stories that we want never to be dead. This book intends to keep the story that can be ours alive most simply and touchingly. Short essays and quotes for each stage of life are written. As a supporting element, the least amount of colors and simple clean
typeface is used.
The styles are inspired by different sources of illustrations and the ideas for the scenes were mostly taken from personal photographs.
The way of approaching to the memories of people with certain moods is the key element of this book. Expressing through the simplest ways makes the concept approachable, and leads the audience to their deepest heart.
The basic storyline is focused on the perspective of an ordinary man, showing his life from his earliest age until his young adulthood of having his own family. Considering each person has different life experiences and interpretations of one’s life, I tried to generalize scenes as much as possible. The aim of this project is the readers to be able to get connected at least to some parts of the storyline and get indulged in reminiscence. Moments can last forever, and stories can
never die.

The project uses a mobile application called Artivive and works in conjunction with the posters created. It shows what happens when a client over criticizes a design project. The augmented reality application scans the posters and animates it into a design that's quite unsuccessful because of the client's intervention.
